Fight Like A Girl
Suffragitsu
Suffragettes
A dynamic project exploring the history of the women's suffrage movement, working with 40 Y9 students at Parliament Hill School in Camden to engage with, learn about and better understand the history through a variety of exciting, creative, activities.

Participants will explore the Women’s Library Archive; visit the Museum of London Suffragette Collection; take part in a suffrage tour and live debate at the Houses of Parliament; attend masterclasses from specialist historians including Dr Mari Takayanagi, Dr Diane Atkinson, Dr Kate Connelly and  Sarah Jackson; and take part in hands-on theatrical, design, and exhibition curation workshops.

The project will culminate in a visual exhibition and two free site-specific performances celebrating the history of the Women’s Movement and present-day women’s activism through visual arts and physical theatre.
