Airborne Families: A Family Learning Project in 20 Islington Schools.

Working with Isaac Ngugi of Unclassified Arts we have created a programme based on aerial dance, theatre games and yoga aimed at young people and parents in early years, primary, secondary and special needs schools.

Well beyond flying, this work helps families to bond in unusual and fun ways, repairing or healing difficult relationships and unblocking both parents and children.

It has the knock on effect of creating a stronger partnership between the schools and families.  This project continues our other successful parental engagement work in London and nationally.

The best thing was that it gave us some quality time together.  So exciting and exhilarating – fantastic fun.  We talk more now.
